Biography

Director, editor, reporter and image operator. Graduated in Cinema, Video and Multimedia Communication with specialization in cinematographic and television production and realization by the Lusófona University of Humanities and Technologies. Between 1993 and 1997 he worked on TVS – Televisão Santomense, from 1997 to 2010 in several audio-visual productions in Portugal as editor and image reporter. He works at the Assembly of the Portuguese Republic since 2010 as director at ARTV – Canal Parlamento. He has made a number of works with a special mention for the documentaries: “UNESCO World Heritage of the Biosphere”, “São Tomé and Príncipe – The dream destination”, “The new dawn” (on the investment projects of the HBD company in Ilha do Príncipe), “São Tomé and Príncipe – Patchwork of a History”, “neither mine nor yours … is ours” and the television program “Nós por Lá” emitted on TVS – Televisão Santomense and available on the program channel on YouTube.
He has participated in several short films with emphasis on the films: “The lieutenant” (with the function of scorer), “The race” (with the function of camera operator).

Realizador, editor, repórter e operador de imagem. Licenciado em Cinema, Vídeo e Comunicação Multimédia com especialização em produção e realização cinematográfica e televisiva pela Universidade Lusófona de Humanidades e Tecnologias. Entre 1993 e 1997 trabalhou na TVS – Televisão Santomense, de 1997 a 2010 em várias produtoras audiovisuais em Portugal como editor e reporter de imagem. Funcionário da Assembleia da República Portuguesa desde 2010 como realizador na ARTV – Canal Parlamento. Realizou vários trabalhos com o destaque para os documentários: Príncipe património mundial da biosfera da UNESCO, São Tomé e Príncipe – O destino de sonho, O novo amanhecer (sobre os projectos de investimento da empresa HBD na Ilha do Príncipe), São Tomé e Príncipe – Retalhos de uma História, nem meu nem teu…é nosso e o programa de televisão Nós por Lá emitido na TVS – Televisão Santomense e disponível no canal do programa no YouTube.
Participou em várias curtas-metragens com destaque para os filmes: O tenente (com a função de anotador), a corrida (com a função de operador de câmara).
