Mauro Pereira was born in 1986 in Luanda, Angola. When he was four years old he moved to Portugal, where he grew up and began his carrier.

He attended the  course “Film, Video and Multimedia Communication”, at the Lusofona University and participated in the Courses of Technique and Photographic Composition lectured by the Portuguese Institute of Photography. For 6 years he was trainer of a portuguese government program for youth in the audiovisual field.
